DR. CP DAVID, Partner

Dr. CP David is a licensed geologist and professor of Geology and Environmental Science in UP Diliman. On secondment from 2015 to 2017 to the DOST, Dr. David concurrently served as Executive Director of DOST-PCIEERD Innovation Council and Officer-in-Charge of the DOST Philippine Nuclear Research Institute. Dr. David is also the proponent of several startup companies involving large data analytics including Karayan Diliman (water resources) and GenomeSmart (bioinformatics). He received his Ph.D. in Environmental Science and Geology from Stanford University in 2003                                                                                              

ERICSON JAMES PACABA, Partner

As an experienced finance professional specializing in financial modeling and corporate valuation, James has participated in starting up and raising almost USD1 Million in seed capital and working capital for more than 10 startup ventures, the largest of which is Flipside Digital Content Company, Inc. a BPO with annual sales of more than USD2 Million. He concurrently sits on the board of directors and is the CFO. 

His valuation models, which range from simple deterministic models to stochastic simulation models, have supported the sale and acquisition of 10 companies in tech, manufacturing and services sectors. He has led due diligence in two deals with one of the largest telecommunications companies in the Philippines and provided support for a capital raise with 500 startups. 

In addition, he performs an outsourced CFO function for 2 companies with combined revenue of USD 10 Million engaged in construction and insurance. 

QUINTIN JOSE V. PASTRANA, Partner  

Quintin Pastrana is an entrepreneur and corporate executive with 20 years of experience working for multinational corporations in the energy and minerals sector. He is currently the President of WEnergy Power Pilipinas, Inc., which focuses on renewable, hybrid, and off-grid solutions. He is also the founder of an award-winning social enterprise, the Library Renewal Partnership, with close to 500 partner libraries to date. He has been recognized by the Asia Society, the US-ASEAN Business Council as one of the country's and region's top young leaders. He graduated from the Universities of Oxford, Cambridge, and Georgetown with advanced degrees in Literature, International Relations and Business.

NISHA ALICER, Partner

Nisha Alicer is Chief Equity Strategist for DA Market Securities, Inc. 

Nisha has worked in the equities industry for the past decade, assuming roles in Research and Sales for High-Networth Individuals and Retail Clients.

Nisha is an advocate for Investor Education, participating as a resource speaker for the Philippine Stock Exchange. She has also worked with the Philippine Association of Securities Brokers Dealers Inc. as Member-Host Secretariat for the Asia Securities Forum (ASF) held in Manila in 2016 and Mactan in 2007.  The ASF aims to contribute to the development of securities markets and economic growth in the region.

Nisha is a Certified Securities Representative, and a Licensed Real Estate Broker and Appraiser. 

DOUG ROMBERG, Partner

Doug is an Engineer focused on bridging the gap between operations teams and financial decision making. He is the author of E Meets C, a book linking operations at the Engineering level to the C-Suite financial perspective using his proprietary framework (FDEA™). He is a veteran of the industry with 35 Years of Manufacturing and Industrial Engineering Experience.

SEVASTIAN ROMBERG, Partner

Sev is a financial professional and entrepreneur whose roots lie in socio-economic development. He is a Founding Partner of Morningtide Capital Partners (a financial consulting firm based in Singapore with clients in the United States, Australia, and Southeast Asia). He is also a founding partner of Seamless Industrial Engineering (an outsource IE firm) and Seamless Ltd (a specialized content development firm).

As a financial consultant, Sev specializes in building financial models around the early, uncertain stages of new businesses, new business lines, and major capital expenditures.  His portfolio includes 25+ clients in industries, including fintech, healthcare, food and beverage, development, cosmetics, agriculture, transportation, clean energy, socio-economic impact, and more with board seats in 7 of these companies.
